Every relationship benefits from stronger, more effective communication—yet it’s often the first thing to suffer when life’s challenges arise. Since communication shapes our daily interactions, I help couples develop a shared language that fosters understanding, trust, and growth. The goal is to always work towards secure attachment and functioning. Couples work is a deep dive into how your family of origin, emotional regulation styles, and neuroscience all play a role in how we relate to our partner.
I welcome and celebrate couples from all walks of life, including those in traditional monogamous relationships, consensual non-monogamous partnerships/ethical non-monogamy (ENM), LGBTQIA+ relationships, modern parenting dynamics, "dual income, no kids" partnerships, and those engaged in consensual alternative sex practices such as kink or BDSM - and beyond. No matter your relationship structure, I provide a safe and affirming space to explore and address the unique challenges you face.
With a trauma-informed and sex positive approach, I help couples heal past and present wounds by fostering mutual support and personal growth. Relationships require ongoing care and commitment—let me guide you in cultivating a stronger, more fulfilling partnership. Remember that you do not have to be drowning in your relationship to seek therapy.
Relationship Counseling Session Rates: $450 (3 hour intake session), $400 (90 minute follow-up sessions)
A note about sex therapy for relationships.
Relationship sex therapy sessions provide a supportive and judgment-free space to address intimacy challenges, improve communication, and deepen emotional and physical connection. Whether navigating differences in desire, resolving past conflicts, or enhancing pleasure and trust, I offer guidance tailored to your unique relationship. Through open dialogue and evidence-based strategies, I will help couples foster a more satisfying and fulfilling sexual connection.
Interested in Pre-marital or Precommitment Relationship Counseling?
I am a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator. Prepare/Enrich is a secular, manualized couples therapy approach best suited for couples who are engaged to be married, cohabitating, or couples thinking about strengthening their relationship for the next steps (whatever your next step is).
Prepare/Enrich is a time-limited approach which means you will sign up for a specific number of sessions (4 or 6 - 90 minute sessions). I work with each couple to determine the areas you want to focus on more than others in your sessions.
It will start with an online assessment each member of the couple will take separately (you will never see each other’s responses). A report is then provided for the couple, along with a workbook. You may have “homework” in between sessions using the workbook. Topics included in the assessment and workbook are: communication, goal setting, family of origin, finances, relationship roles, children/parenting, conflict resolution, sex and affection, spirituality, and leisure activities - among other topics. Prepare/Enrich is a great way to invest in your relationship early on!
Prepare/Enrich Session Rates (includes the $35 assessment fee):

6//90 minute sessions: $1650

Fees & Insurance
Important Note: I am an “Out Of Network” (OON) practitioner. That means that I do not accept insurance or work directly with insurance companies. Your services may be eligible for reimbursement. I can provide you with the documentation needed for reimbursement (typically called a “SuperBill”). You may choose to use a tool like https://reimbursify.com/ to help with the reimbursement process. Contact your insurance provider to determine what OON benefits you may have.
